International Symposium on Neuromonitoring in the OR and ICU

The symposium aims to provide an evidence-based approach and the basic tools to interpret the different methodologies available in neuromonitoring. The two-day event focuses on the basics of neuromonitoring including EEG and automatic EEG analyzers, EP, trans-cranial Doppler, and NIRS. In addition, educating healthcare professionals in some of the neurophysiology principles that rule out the continuum between the conscious state, deep anesthesia and how to maintain sedation in the ICU. A special focus will be directed to the basic techniques of monitoring patients affected by brain injuries in the ICU. The sessions provide theoretical updates and roundtable discussions delivered by reputable international and national experts in the field of neuroscience.
