Expro recognized for excellence in occupational health and safety

Expro, a leading international oil services company, recently received the President’s Award at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2015.

Expro received this honor following 11 consecutive gold awards. In 2014, Expro won the President’s Award, and the company won the Scotland Trophy in 2013 and the gold medal in 2010. The award is one way that RoSPA recognizes a company’s commitment to the ongoing improvement in safety and health throughout the industry. The judges choose winners according to their safety management, occupational health systems, and workforce and leadership involvement.

“Expro is proud to have been selected for the President’s Award once again, following many years of safety success with RoSPA,” Expro Group's Health, Safety and Environmental Quality Manager David Ford said. “We are fully committed to the continual improvement of our health and safety management processes, with our employees fully embracing our ‘champion safety’ culture in all aspects of their work. The RoSPA Safety Awards are an internationally recognized, and much respected, awards scheme, and receiving this recognition demonstrates that safety is at the forefront of everything we do at Expro.”

RoSPA’s Awards Manager David Rawlins said the awards encourage improvement in occupational health and safety management.

“Organizations that gain recognition for their health and safety management systems, such as Expro, contribute to raising standards overall and we congratulate them,” he said.
