Antaira Technologies expands industrial networking infrastructure series

Antaira Technologies recently announced that it has launched the expansion of the company’s industrial networking infrastructure series with the LNP-1202G-SFP and LNP-1204G-SFP devices.

These new Gigabit unmanaged Ethernet switches provide the highest Gigabit Ethernet port connectivity density available. Combining SFP fiber and RJ45 copper and high Gigabit port count connectivity has made a product that meets the special needs of the transportation, security, wind and solar power industries. The switches work well in outdoor applications despite any weather and environmental factors.

The two devices are compliant with IEEE 802.3at/af. These units need a high voltage power input amounting to 48~55VDC to operate up to 30 watts of PoE power output for each port. The series will support 10*10/100/1000Tx RJ45 ports as well as 2*100/1000 SFP slots. In addition, the LNP-1204G-SFP devices support 8*10/100/1000Tx RJ45 ports as wellas 4*100/1000 SFP slots.

The devices’ PoE ports use self-adjusting power to guarantee that the devices do not accept excess power. This prevents any potential damage from occurring. These SFP fiber ports can provide support for any kind of fiber connection, including short or long haul applications and multi-mode or single-mode. In addition, the SFP ports can provide support for dual rate speeds, such as 100Fx or 1000Fx fiber connections.
