Gulf organization promotes investment in industry

The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) recently announced that the Industrial Bank of Kuwait will host the 15th Industrialists’ Conference with the slogan “Foreign Direct Investment in the GOIC and its impact on industry.”

The purpose of the conference is to suggest and recommend improvements for the investment environment and overcome certain obstacles that currently deter foreign investments. The conference will also discuss ways to direct foreign investments in ways that align with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) strategic plans to maximize and achieve their goals from these investments.

Attendees will determine which key industrial pillars of the GCC most need investments.

The conference will be hosted by the Sheraton Hotel Kuwait on Nov. 25 and 26. The Kuwait Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting, and the Public Authority for Industry (PAI) in the state of Kuwait have partnered with the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), the Industrial Bank of Kuwait (IBK), Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA), and the Kuwaiti Industries Union as well as the Federation of Chambers of Commerce of the GCC and the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf to organize the event.
