Emirates Insolaire, the pioneering solar tech developers, generated buzz at this year’s EnerSolar Brasil exhibition with the firm’s revolutionary colored solar glass technology.

The firm, a joint venture of Dubai Investments PJSC and SwissINSO Holding, Inc.,
recently installed the world’s first Kromatix colored solar panel modules on a building façade in Lausanne, Switzerland. The company is currently installing the panels on projects in Basel, Switzerland and also in Austria.

The colored Kromatix panels are among the latest innovations in the industry and drew great interest from the more than 250 exhibitors from across the globe at the EnerSolar exhibition in São Paulo last week.

Emirates Insolaire sees huge growth potential for its colored solar panels, powered by the Kromatix technology with an impressive 40 percent year-on-year growth in the global photovoltaic market.

The ability to make visually pleasing colored panels could see that number grow as solar technology can increasingly be incorporated into the architectural aesthetics of building projects.

Emirates Insolaire expects to sell more than 538,000 square feet of colored solar panels in 2015 alone.

The interest shown at EnerSolar and other industry exhibitions has prompted the company to ramp up its solar glass production to more than 16.1 million square feet a year to keep up with surging demand and enquiries from Gulf Cooperation Council states, Europe, the U.S., Singapore, South Korea and South America.
