Several U.S. companies to participate in Dubai Airshow

At least 150 U.S. companies will showcase their technologies, equipment and services from Nov. 8 to Nov. 12 at the Dubai Airshow.

Several U.S. aerospace and aviation companies, including Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman, will present at the event, which looks to take advantage and respond to the economic growth, increased modernization, and heightened defense and security requirements of the region.

"When the U.S.A. commits to exhibit at the Dubai Airshow, we're saying we believe in the power of this event to attract real business prospects and customers," Kallman Worldwide President and CEO Tom Kallman said. "As the organizer of the U.S International Pavilion, our team is proud to help our exhibitors capitalize on this international business event to grow their share of the regional marketplace, and further extend our nation's global aerospace and defense leadership."

The last airshow, held in 2013, featured more than 1,000 exhibitors for 60 countries and drew more than 60,000 attendees.
