Real estate investment management software provider Yardi has opened a new data center in Dubai to meet the needs of its rapidly growing client base in the Middle East.

The facility is part of the Yardi Cloud, a global network of more than 10 data centers providing a secure and scalable software provisioning and data management solution aimed at handling clients' needs related to IT infrastructure, support services and data security.

The centers, which are located in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Canada, are electronically and physically protected. These protections include multiple firewalls, biometric screening, onsite security, video surveillance, fire suppression systems and real-time offsite replication.

“Our Middle East operation has grown substantially in a relatively short period of time, and the Dubai data center is the latest step in a strategy that continues to demonstrate commitment by investing further in the region," Tardi International Vice President Neal Gemassmer said. "The Dubai data center will provide our growing Middle East client base access to the Yardi cloud’s fast, best-practice based solution deployments, painless upgrades and reduced overhead and capital costs."
