Qatar is planning its second "Made in China" exhibition.
The Qatar Chamber said it is building on the success of the first edition of the "Made in China" exhibition in Doha with a second edition, scheduled for Nov. 15-18, that will feature more space and a higher number of participating Chinese companies.

The Qatar Chamber, in collaboration with the Embassy of Qatar in China, has begun a promotional campaign at the China National Convention Centre (CNCC) in Beijing for the second edition of exhibition. The campaign kicked off by Qatar Chamber Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al-Thani; Qatar Chamber Director General Saleh Hamad al-Shariq; Abdallah bin Saif al-Khayarin, acting charge d’affaires at the Qatar embassy; and Chong Yee, deputy director of China Centre for International Economic and Technical Exchange.

The campaign will emphasize the strategic location of Qatar and the exhibition’s ability to connect the East and the West with Africa. Al-Thani said he also hopes to promote the business scope of the event.

Al-Shaqi has said that Qatar has surfaced as one of the top countries worldwide to attract investment opportunities because of its development plans.
