Telecom company Zain Bahrain recently presented several micropreneurs participating in the second edition of "Kun Muntijan" with voice and data packages and support hardware tailor-made for startups with low cash flow.

Zain Bahrain recently revamped its corporate social sustainability program and participates in events like "Kun Muntija," organized by Tamkeen and supported through a key partnership with Zain Bahrain, to carry on its commitment to youth empowerment and innovation.

Numerous small-business owners participated in the event at the Gulf Hotel. Instagram and home-based sellers, for example, participated in workshops and an exposition designed by leading companies and support groups provided tools to help businesses grow within their respective industry.

Zain Bahrain continues its focus on bettering the customer experience as well as supporting startup companies through events like "Zain Thursdays." a platform for local startups held every week at the operator's Seef headquarters.

“Bahrain is currently going through something of an entrepreneurship boom, with many success stories being reported of micro-enterprises growing to become successful small- and medium-sized businesses,” Zain Bahrain Corporate Communications Manager Samya Hussein said. “Zain Bahrain will continue its support toward startups and provide them with not only advice, but practical solutions to help them overcome the challenges they face while they go through learning curves and wait for their business ideas to take off.”
