The Social Development Center (SDC) and Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) about empowering youth and helping broaden their professional choices, standards and capacities.

The MoU is to help achieve the aspirations of Qatar National Vision 2030, a roadmap for Qatar's future that focuses on youth as a means and an end for development. The agreement covers the creation of professional standards and stipulates creating advanced training programs for entrepreneurship.

Since its inception in 1996, the SDC has worked to build and achieve economic stability for underprivileged families.

The QFBA was founded with to help contribute to the development of professional leaders in business and finance. It also works with international universities and consulting firms to provide training and accreditation recognized by international organizations.

Since innovation and entrepreneurship are part of the SDC's interests and business and finance are the core of the Academy's affairs, the two parties are partnering to achieve common objectives.
