Tejar Dubai Youth Council has new chairman
The council aims to unify the voices of entrepreneurs while helping them to grow and develop. The council was launched last year with the support of the Tejar Dubai entrepreneurship development program.
“Today, let’s resolve to work together for a bright future," Al Shafar said. "We are lucky to be living under the wise leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE vice president and prime minister and ruler of Dubai. Therefore it’s our duty to respond in a fitting manner by setting a good example while contributing to the economic progress of the emirate.”
Al Shafar urged the Youth Council members to look into the challenges that we face and together find their solutions in a innovate way by thinking out of the box.
Essa Al Zaabi, senior vice president of the institutional support sector of the Dubai chamber and general coordinator of Tejar Dubai, wished Al Shafar the best and said his appointment will strengthen the role of the Youth Council in promoting the contributions of young citizens to the economic growth of the country and enhancing their communication with the private sector by exchanging experiences and knowledge.
“This will lead to further uniting the voices of young entrepreneurs in line with Dubai chamber’s strategy of providing a common platform of communication to all its stakeholders in overcoming the obstacles faced by the emirate’s entrepreneurs while enhancing their competitiveness in the domestic and global markets,” Essa Al Zaabi, senior vice president of the institutional support sector of the Dubai chamber and general coordinator of Tejar Dubai, said.
