Riyadh-based Saudi Hollandi Bank (SHB) recently earned two accolades from the Middle East’s foremost authority on strategic business intelligence, The Asian Banker, for its loyalty rewards program, updated CRM system and high level of retail service.

Africa, SHB won Best Retail Bank for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Best Customer
Relationship Management [CRM] in the Middle East for 2016 at Asian Banker's third annual Middle East and Africa Awards Ceremony in Dubai.
SHB saw its customer base and its retail portfolio increase by over one third (37 percent and 35 percent, respectively) in 2015. Additionally, SHB increased the number and variety of benefits associated with its customer rewards program to offer what is currently the most thorough such service in Saudi Arabia. Now customers accumulate points for every transaction posted, whether directly through the bank or via participating merchants, to earn credit towards travel or financial products.
"These awards recognize the achievements by the bank in implementing customer centric strategies, which help to solidify our position as the leading retail bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," SHB Managing Director Bernd van Linder said.
