Bahrain chamber holds seminar on value-added tax

The Industrial Sector Committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), in partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers Bahrain (PwC), held a value-added tax (VAT) seminar last week in Bahrain. 

Topics covered in the seminar included the central characteristics of VAT, possible VAT treatments of particular industries and VAT compliance and documentation requirements. 

Abdulhameed Alkooheji, second vice chairman of the BCCI Industrial Sector Committee, has noted the importance of the subjects being covered in the seminar and urged the business community and stakeholders to attend.
