Saudi Arabia Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid Al Qasabi recently praised the private sector’s positive response to the Ministry of Commerce and Investment’s Partners 2030 initiative.

In a letter addressed to Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) Chairperson Dr. Abdulrahman Al Zamil, Al Qasabi lauded the private sector’s influence as part of Partners 2030, which seeks to enhance partnership within the sector. It also aims to create trade and investment opportunities in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030.

Al Qasabi’s letter mentioned CSC leadership’s keenness on helping achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 through the creation of a ministerial committee that will meet weekly on challenges facing the private sector.

For his part, Al Zamil thanked the Saudi leadership -- embodied in King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman -- for their commitment to Vision 2030, the greatest development plan in the history of the Kingdom.

Al Zamil submitted the business sector’s remarks and recommendations for Partners 2030 and noted that the sector will continue to ensure real development that coexists with Vision 2030 and aids the kingdom’s citizens.
