The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Abu Dhabi Business Women Council (ADBWC) recently launched its third Entrepreneurship Awareness Campaign.
The campaign is held under the patronage of Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak “Mother of the Nation,” chairwoman of the General Women's Union, supreme chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, president of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and honorary chairwoman of the Abu Dhabi Business Women Councils and Maryam Mohammed Al-Rumaithi, chairwoman of the Emirates Business Women Council and chairperson of the ADBWC.
The eight-week campaign spreads the culture of entrepreneurship in Abu Dhabi. It includes a number of programs under the title of “Our Social Responsibility in Serving the Nation,” and comes as part of the “Year of Giving” announced by UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the beginning of 2017.
“We are honored for the third entrepreneurship Awareness Campaign to receive the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak,” Al-Rumaithi said. “The campaign aims at activating the role of women in supporting the annual strategic plans and approaches of the government of the UAE in general and the government of Abu Dhabi in particular as well as spreading the culture of social responsibility.”
