Qatar Diplomatic Institute unveils program to train diplomats for missions abroad

Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently said in a release that its Diplomatic Institute is launching a program for diplomats transferred to work in Qatari missions abroad.


Assistant Director of the Diplomatic Institute Nadia Ahmed Al Shaibi, who spoke at opening of the program, said the program will help develop Qatar’s diplomatic capacities, the release said.


Courses at the institute will utilize a dynamic method in line with rapid developments in international policy. While participating in the program, trainees will meet with the directors of the departments to learn about departmental functions and will also meet political and economic experts and analysts, the release said.


Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi will meet with the trainees at the conclusion of the program and review their job duties.
