In celebration of the Eid Al-Adha holiday, Oman Oil Marketing Company (omanoil) donated clothes to 500 children across Oman in collaboration with the charity Dar Al Atta’a last month.

The initiative was part of omanoil’s At’a Campaign, which ran through the last 10 days of the holy month of Ramadan.

Under the theme “Together We Give More,” the campaign donated 10 percent of all sales from a number of ahlain convenience stores in Oman. Branches that took part were in Muscat, Al Batinah, Al Sharqiyah, Al Dakhiliyah and Salalah.

Al Moatasam Al Amri, omanoil’s head of corporate social responsibility, said omanoil is committed to going beyond its core business by initiating and supporting programs that benefit the wider community in Oman.

“By partnering with Dar Al Atta’a on this campaign, we were certain that our efforts will reach those who need them most while encouraging children’s development across the country,” Al Amri said.

To date, omanoil has initiated far-reaching social initiatives that include road safety programs, environmental protection and awareness campaigns, blood donation drives, and fuel station safety schemes.

The goal, Al Amri said, is to enhance the quality of life for people in the Sultanate.
