UAE online consumers still prefer cash payment

Data compiled by online retailer and released on Thursday show most UAE consumers continue to prefer using cash-on-delivery to make purchases.

Data indicates that on average, cyber shoppers spend 500 dirhams minimum per transaction. Consumer electronics take up 57 percent of purchases, while home and kitchen-appliance purchases are second, at 14 percent. Photography and cameras generate 4 percent of sales.
