Abu Dhabi chamber, UAE officials welcome Kazakhstan delegation
The Kazakhstan delegation also included Astana City Deputy Mayor Nurali Aliyev and Kazakh Ambassador to the UAE Khairat Lama Sharif.
Chamber First Deputy Chairman Ibrahim Al-Mahmoud said the meeting's goal was to encourage networking opportunities for businesses and investors from both nations. Al-Mahmoud also said the chamber has been making economic cooperation with other nations a priority, with Kazakhstan at the top of the list.
"The UAE and Kazakhstan share strong and distinguished relations which are reflected on the high level of trade exchange and economic and investment cooperation," Al-Mahmoud said.
The two nations have established the Al-Falah Fund, which is presently worth $500 million, and are also working together on other infrastructure projects.
“Such projects and investments would have a huge impact on pushing cooperation relations between the two countries forward and will contribute to increasing trade exchange through encouraging investments in both countries,” Al-Mahmoud said.
Sharif expressed gratitude to the UAE and its officials, as well as to the Abu Dhabi chamber, for making joint projects and investments with Kazakh and priority.
