Poland, Qatar look to develop stronger economic ties

A recent meeting between Qatar Chamber (QC) Vice Chairman Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Twar and Undersecretary of State of the Republic of Poland Katarzyna Kacperczyk focused on increasing trade between the two countries.

The meeting, which was hosted at the QC headquarters, also concentrated on the need for stronger economic relations, better collaboration between business executives from the two countries and boosting investment opportunities.

Bin Twar welcomed Polish investments as Qatar experiences an economic boost in a variety of sectors and discussed the positive prospects for investment opportunities. He also said the QC is ready and willing to help any Polish businessmen ready to explore financial opportunities in Qatar. Bin Twar highlighted sectors that may be of interest to Polish executives including solar energy, electricity generation, construction, agriculture, tourism, education, health, information technology and hospitality.

Bin Twar also said Qatari businessmen are eager to explore investment opportunities in Poland and developing partnerships with Polish natives with knowledge of trade and economic issues.

Kacperczyk invited Qatari businessmen to travel to Poland to better understand investment opportunities available through collaboration with Polish businesses.
