The announcement came in a speech Al-Rumaithi delivered at the first Businesswomen, Entrepreneurs and Mubdi’ah Forum, which was attended by a number of directors and heads of public authorities in Abu Dhabi and more than 300 Emirati businesswomen and women entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates.

Al-Rumaithi said the Businesswomen, Entrepreneurs and Mubd’ah Forum informs female business leaders on the ADBWC’s five-year strategic plan. The forum showcased the services, initiatives and projects the council is planning to execute in coming years.

The intention there is to develop the role of Emirati women and increase their contributions to the comprehensive and sustainable economic development process in Abu Dhabi.

Al-Rumaithi said this was just the first of many such forums to come, which will bring national businesswomen together for discussions on the role of businesswomen and entrepreneurs in the UAE.
