Abu Dhabi Campus issued the following announcement on May 7.

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and President of the Board of Regents of Abu Dhabi University (ADU), the University is set to celebrate the graduation of its 12th cohort of students – the Year of Zayed class.

The graduation ceremony will take place on May 13 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The class of 2018 includes a total of 1,368 graduating students – 688 undergraduate students, 507 master’s students, 16 students from the Doctorate of Business Administration, and 157 cadets from ADU military’s programs.

Speaking on the occasion, His Excellency Ali Saeed binHarmal Al Dhaheri, Chairman of ADU’s Executive Board, said: “Since its inception in 2003, ADU has graduated 10,540 students. I am confident that today’s graduates with their wealth of knowledge and expertise across diverse fields will become prominent contributors to the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 and further accelerate our nation’s prosperity.”
