Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s affiliate, the Abu Dhabi Center for Corporate Governance, recently organized a seminar called “Executives Succession Planning: A Strategic Imperative
for Public and Family Owned Companies” at the Chamber’s
Tower in Abu Dhabi.

 

The event brought together representatives from more than
50 companies for a series of seminars. Mohammed Al-Muhairi, director general of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, noted that
executives succession planning in public and family-owned companies is
important in today’s business world. Such planning
is key for company growth and continuity.

 

Dr. Yacoub Shaer, human resources and corporate development advisor, spoke
at the event about the strategic necessity of executives succession planning,
saying that planning should be implemented within the core of companies’ business to guarantee the achievement of objectives.
