Education, economic development and tourism got their turn in the spotlight when the Abu Dhabi Chamber hosted representatives from the private sector recently.

The specialized meeting was the third in a series organized with the Department of Economic Development (DED) that works to build communication and interaction
with the trade, industrial and service sectors of Abu Dhabi.

“By
organizing such meetings, the government can observe the most significant
challenges these sectors face in order to overcome them and create proper
solutions for them so that they can play their role as strategic key supporters
to the sustainable development process of Abu Dhabi,” Khalifa Salem
Al-Mansouri, acting undersecretary of the DED, said.

The Abu Dhabi
Educational Council (ADEC), the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (ADTCA) and
the DED all made presentations.

Also in attendance were Khalifa Al-Mazroui, undersecretary
of the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport; Seif Saeed Ghabbash, director
general of the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority; Mohamed Helal
Al-Muhairi, director general of the Abu Dhabi Chamber; Saeed
Issa Al Khaili, director general of ZonesCorp; and Hamad Al-Dhaheri, executive
director of the Private Schools and Quality Assurance Sector at the Abu Dhabi Educational
