The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently
hosted Gabriela Michetti, vice president of Argentina, for a discussion on how
to grow economic and investment relations between the two regions.

Attending the meeting for Abu Dhabi were Dr. Al-Taher Al-Kindi, second deputy chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and
Industry, and Noura Al-Kaabi, UAE minister of state for Federal National
Council Affairs.

Michetti called on Abu Dhabi businesses to invest in
Argentina, taking advantage of opportunities and incentives offered for foreign
investors in the agricultural sector, mining, food industries and tourism.

Al-Kindi, for his part, noted the importance of expanding joint economic and investment
cooperation between companies in the two regions.

“The Abu Dhabi Chamber will spend hard efforts to raise the
level of trade exchange between the two sides, and it will provide all sorts of
support and help to Argentinian companies, especially those operating in
renewable energy, oil and gas, food industries, chemicals, medical industries and many other sectors of mutual interest,” Al-Kindi said. “Abu
Dhabi has become the destination for businessmen and investors from across the
globe. Abu Dhabi is being considered today as the most attractive places for
investments, especially when you consider its economic vision 2030 and its
plans and projects.”
