The Abu Dhabi Chamber recently hosted a Honduran trade
mission in an effort to grow economic cooperation between the two regions.

Ibrahim Al-Mahmoud, first deputy chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of
Commerce and Industry, received Ebal Lupian, Honduran secretary of state and presidential advisor in Abu Dhabi, at the Chamber’s
Tower.

The two sides discussed the need to strengthen economic and
investment relations between Honduras and Abu Dhabi. The first step will be to
build awareness for private sector partnerships.

“In order to accomplish that we
will work hard to increase the level of support for Honduran companies,
especially those operating in the manufacturing sector, in order to encourage
them to invest in our markets and increase their numbers in Abu Dhabi,”
Al-Mahmoud said. “Many national companies in Abu
Dhabi are desirous of establishing economic and investment cooperation
relations with Honduran companies.”

In attendance at the meeting were Abu Dhabi Chamber board members Dr. Mubarak Al Ameri, Jamal Al-Nuaimi and Sanad
Al-Miqbali, along with Mohammed Helal Al-Muhairi, director general of the
Abu Dhabi Chamber; Abdullah Al-Qubaisi, deputy director general of the chamber; and members of the Honduran delegation.
