Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on April 3.

On the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day, a delegation from Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited AL Noor Center for Rehabilitation of People of Determination. This comes within the social initiatives that the Abu Dhabi Chamber is always keen on as part of its agenda to support community interaction and its participation in institution and center humanitarian celebrations particularly those of people of special needs and determination.

The Board Director of Al Noor Center, Mr. Salem Rashid AL Jeneibi, stressed upon his reception to the Chamber’s Delegation that this visit is a key step towards promoting communication and strengthening mutual cooperation amongst institutions, associations and centers that care about rehabilitating people of high determination in the UAE in general and in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in particular under the kind sponsorship of our wise leadership.

The Board Director of Al Noor Center, Mr. Salem Rashid AL Jeneibi, stressed upon his reception to the Chamber’s Delegation that this visit is a key step towards promoting communication and strengthening mutual cooperation amongst institutions, associations and centers that care about rehabilitating people of high determination in the UAE

The delegation wandered the center premises and divisions to closely explore its services. Mr. Muhammad Ismael Al Marzouqi, CEO of Human Resources Sector at Abu Dhabi Chamber and by the name of the delegation thanked Al Noor Center for their tireless efforts they exert to serve various categories of Special Needs People and their keenness on providing what they need of psychological, physical, professional and educational care which would enhance their sense of consideration and belongingness as important individuals. This will definitely help integrate them in their families and communities as well.

The Abu Dhabi Chamber also presented a gift to the Center to add happiness to the people of determination at the Center.

ABU DHABI UNIVERSITY: Reaching 75% Construction Completion

ADU an internationally recognized academic institution for quality education and applied research, has announced completion of 75% of the construction of its AED300 million new campus in Al Ain’s Asharej district. With over 400 laborers working on the development of the new campus, applying the highest health and safety standards and the safety regulations of the Civil Defense for 2018, the building also meets One-Pearl Estidama requirements for design and operation sustainability.
