Led by Sheikh Suroor Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, officials from the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry met recently with a group of economic professionals from

Kazakhstan
including Vice Minister of Investments and Development

Rakhim Oshakbayev.

The

Kazakhstan delegation also included 

Astana City Deputy Mayor Nurali Aliyev and Kazakh Ambassador to the UAE

Khairat Lama Sharif.

said the meeting’s goal was to encourage networking opportunities for businesses and investors from both nations.
Al-Mahmoud also said the chamber has been making economic cooperation with other nations a priority, with

Kazakhstan
at the top of the list.

“The UAE and Kazakhstan share strong and distinguished relations which are reflected on the high level of trade exchange and economic and investment cooperation,”

Al-Mahmoud
said.

The two nations have established the Al-Falah Fund, which is presently worth $500 million, and are also working together on other infrastructure projects.

“Such projects and investments would have a huge impact on pushing cooperation relations between the two countries forward and will contribute to increasing trade exchange through encouraging investments in both countries,”

Al-Mahmoud
said.  

Sharif expressed gratitude to the UAE and its officials, as well as to the Abu Dhabi chamber, for making joint projects and investments with Kazakh and priority.
