A group comprised of members of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Abu Dhabi Ports recently visited the Khalifa Industrial Zone to evaluate sites for several private sector companies.

The organizations are working toward better promotion of investment and service opportunities in the Khalifa Industrial Zone and throughout Abu Dhabi.

The group was led by HE Mohammed Helal Al-Muhairi, director general of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, and was made up of dozens of directors and managers from corporations that provide economic, industrial and other services.

The Khalifa Industrial Zone is open to local and foreign investors. Al-Muhairi said Abu Dhabi Ports and the chamber would like to see more international industry come to the area, pointing out that both organizations have made major efforts to promote the zone to private sector investors.
This most recent visit is one in a series that have been organized by the groups to help maintain partnerships and promote services in the Khalifa Industrial Zone.

Mohammed Jumaa Al-Shamsi, chief executive officer of Abu Dhabi Ports, said that his company has attempted to create a “one-stop shop” for investors in the industrial zone.
