Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Co. is in the final preparation stages to host the 13th Abu Dhabi International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) Sept. 9-12.

Organized by EFC and supported by the Cultural Programs and Heritage Festival Committee in Abu Dhabi, the annual event showcases the local traditions and cultural heritage associated with camel racing, equestrian sports, falconry, hunting and fishing.

The event will also feature various activities and competitions such as saluki and falcon beauty contests; photography, drawing and poetry competition; and a variety of traditional hunting and equestrian activities.

Launched in 2003, ADIHEX articulates Abu Dhabi’s ongoing efforts to preserve popular sporting activities of the past and promote the concept of sustainable hunting.

With the participation of many international companies, ADIHEX 2015 is set to give visitors the opportunity to interact with thousands of hunting and sports enthusiasts in an informal, open air space and purchase the latest camping, hunting, equestrian and weaponry equipment. The event will include an area assigned to introducing visitors to the rich heritage and traditions of Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
