The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) has announced that
the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) will host the annual SPE Technical
Conference and Exhibition (ATCE).

ATCE is set to take place from Sept. 26-28 in Dubai under the patronage of the prime minister of the
United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum.

 

“ADNOC’s support of ATCE and SPE is a reflection of our
long-standing commitment to this important nonprofit organization which is
dedicated to collecting, disseminating, and exchanging knowledge relating to
the oil and gas industry,” Qasem Al Kayoumi, manager of the technical center,
ADNOC, said. “Sharing knowledge and best practice amongst industry experts is
core to the success and progress of energy companies, particularly during this
period when industry players are looking to increase operational efficiency and
maximize profitability.”

 

Abdul Al Kindy, director of exploration development
and production at ADNOC, will give the keynote address. In attendance will be
multiple ADNOC representatives: Mohamed Al Marzouqi, manager, reservoir
engineering, offshore; Mohamed Al Mutawa, manager, production and facilities
engineering; Omar Al Suwaidi, Director, Gas Management Directorate.

 

Sponsoring the event are Saudi Aramco and Shell as principal
sponsors and OiLSERV and Industrialization & Energy Services Company (TAQA)
as platinum sponsors.
