Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Development Company showcases its aerospace capabilities at Farnborough International Airshow

Mubadala Development Company, based in Abu Dhabi, featured its expanding aerospace
technologies at the recent Farnborough International Airshow in the United Kingdom.

Representatives from

Mubadala’s aerospace and engineering services sector, including Piaggio Aerospace, Sanad Aero
Solutions and Strata Manufacturing, attended the airshow, recognized as one
of the world’s largest aviation happenings.

“Farnborough International Airshow is one of the leading
global aviation events and we are proud to attend with our partners to showcase
the growing aerospace capabilities in Abu Dhabi, with 10,000 jobs expected to
be created between now and 2030 in the sector alone,” Homaid Al Shimmari,
CEO of Aerospace and Engineering Services at Mubadala, said. “The landmark edition of
the airshow provides valuable opportunities to highlight our incredible growth
in developing an aerospace hub in Abu Dhabi with key customers and
stakeholders.”

Mubadala plans to develop an aerospace hub in Abu Dhabi,
which is supportive of the government’s vision for a diversified economy. The
hub,

Nibras Al Ain Aerospace
Park, a joint venture between

Mubadala
and Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC),  will serve as a central location for research and development facilities, education
and training institutions and manufacturing and maintenance facilities.

Mubadala offers services to customers in the areas of manufacturing
maintenance, repair and overhaul and leasing solutions and continues
to grow as an internationally recognized participant in the aerospace industry.
