Abu Dhabi University recently recognized the hard work of enrollment
and registration teams who have helped skyrocket enrollment numbers on both Abu
Dhabi and Al Ain campuses.
The university reports higher numbers in both
undergraduate and postgraduate programs, moving from 5,229 students in 2012-2013 to 6,563 in 2016-2017.
Ali Al Dhaheri, chairman of Abu Dhabi
University’s executive board, spoke during the ceremony, showing appreciation to
the new and current students and their parents for their commitment to the
university.

“It is a testament that emphasizes the quality of the
educational environment of Abu Dhabi University, and our keenness to keep up
with the march of progress and prosperity witnessed by the United Arab
Emirates, in addition to our commitment to devoting all of the university’s
resources to launch an integrated educational system that nurtures and refines
students while preparing them to face the challenges of the 21st century
equipped with the theoretical knowledge and applied technical skills, in line with
the policy agenda of the government of Abu Dhabi’s Economic Vision 2030,” Al Dhaheri said. “This successful growth in student enrollment also enhances
the university’s status especially as it has succeeded in entering the ranks of
the world’s top 750 universities in Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) world university
rankings, in addition to receiving institutional recognition and international
accreditation from the ‘Western Association of Schools and Colleges: Senior
College and University Commission – WSCUC.’”

In closing, Al Dhaheri showed appreciation to the enrollment
teams who were key in bringing new students and success to the university
through their enthusiasm for seeing ADU’s students succeed. He added that the
accomplishments of the university speak to the facility’s commitment to quality
in all programs offered, and serves as a strong platform for the university to
compete with other educational facilities around the world.
