Ajman dean honored for teaching tourism safety

The Dubai Police have honored Hussam Salama and the College of Mass Communication and Humanities at Ajman University for working to keep tourists safe and informed, the school announced recently.

Major
Gen. Mohammed Saeed Al Marri, general director of the police’s Department of
Community Happiness, said Salama, the dean of the mass comm department, has been pivotal in the “Civilizations’ Happiness” campaign, as has the department. Besides focusing on safety concerns, the campaign members also explain cultural and societal norms to newcomers to the United Arab Emirates.
