The Ajman Tourism Development Department entered a strategic partnership with Ajman Department of Economic Development Wednesday to boost the Emirate’s economic opportunities.

The Ajman Department of Economic Development (Ajman DED) and the Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) will determine and implement the most effective best practices to raise Ajman’s global profile.

The agreement was signed between ATDD General Manager Faisal Al Nuaimi and Ajman DED Director General Ali Issa Al Nuaimi. The deal coordinates technical cooperation from both departments and lays the foundations to develop campaigns that contribute to the Emirate’s Ajman 2021 vision.

ATDD and Ajman DED will exchange information and experiences to develop new integrated best practices and share relevant economic studies. The deal will also see delegates from both departments train together and visit each other’s offices to learn about how the other organization operates.

The organizations will cooperate in potential tourism investment negotiations and organize joint conferences, seminars and courses.

“The cooperation between the Tourism Development Department and the Department of Economic Development will increase the effectiveness of the work of our departments,” Al Nuaimi said. “Our collaboration will result in the delivery of the best level of service and experience to our visitors and also to potential investors. It will be a successful venture not only for our economy but for the people of Ajman.”
