Ajman University of Science and Technology issued the following announcement on Oct. 28.

Climbing an impressive 10 places over last year’s results, Ajman University is now ranked #35 in the Arab World as per the 2021 QS Arab Rankings. And the good news doesn’t stop here; AU is now #1 in the Arab world for International Students and International Faculty!

Globally, AU is already ranked among the top 750 universities worldwide as per QS, a reputation enjoyed by less than 2.5% of the universities across the world.

An additional achievement for AU in this year’s QS Arab rankings is our ascent to #17 in Employer Reputation, which represents an 18-point leap from our previous standing of #35.

AU’s meteoric rise in the QS Arab rankings by 10 places is unprecedented feat and displays the faith, commitment and hard work of its management, students, faculty and staff to deliver academic excellence in the face of a challenging and uncertain global environment.

“Our impressive rise in the QS Arab rankings is a testimony to our long-term vision, academic rigor and dedication to excellence brought about by our faculty, staff, students, and alumni. It also reflects the commitment of our donors and partners who have provided unflinching support to our pursuit of excellence,” said Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University.

Initiated in 2014, the QS Arab Rankings ranks universities in the region on a rigorous set of parameters including academic and employer reputation, faculty-student ratio, research impact and other key indicators of academic excellence.

AU’s continuous rise in the QS Arab and Global Rankings reflects our continuous growth story, and we aim to strive harder to keep improving our rank in the QS table to ensure the best outcomes for our stakeholders.
