Ajman University of Science and Technology issued the following announcement on Oct. 7.
The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Dubai Office, has contributed AED 100,000 to the Ajman University Innovation Center.
The amount will be used in supporting the startups looking for a location, accoridng to Mr. Lee, Kwan Seok, General Manager, KOTRA, Dubai.
“They will be provided with four desks, a meeting room and an office at the startup arena in KOTRA.”
KOTRA, located at the Dubai Media City, aims at playing a significant role in the rapid and sustainable growth of the national economy to help achieve the UAE Vision 2021, he added.
“It also promotes innovation and entrepreneurship by engaging stakeholders in industrial issues, market requirements, government expectations and societal needs.”
Ajman University Innovation Center, since its inception, has been supporting innovations and projects through annual competitions. It has also adopted the pioneering projects presented by entrepreneurs and innovators from inside and outside Ajman University.
