The Shariah-compliant branch of Oman Arab Bank, Al Yusr Islamic Banking, recently
established a new office in Al Athaiba that will double as Al
Yusr’s corporate headquarters as it satisfies growing customer demand.

“The surge in demand for the Sharih-compliant solutions
we offer directly inspired the development of this strategically located branch,” Al Yusr General Manager Abdul Qader Al Balushi said. “Customers … can enjoy
a unique banking experience with full access to our complete range of Islamic
finance products and services all under one roof. The property will also
function as our new independent head office and will be home to the entire Al
Yusr management for added customer convenience.”

Located between the communities of Seeb and Matrah, the new Al
Athaiba branch will offer Shariah-compliant banking services for retail and
commercial accounts ranging from current and savings accounts, fixed deposits,
investments and financing for real estate, automotive investments and trade.

The new banking niche will target small and medium
enterprises (SMEs) with customized products suited to their individual needs.

“The expansion of Al Yusr continues to represent a
significant milestone for the entire OAB family,” Oman Arab Bank CEO Amin Al Husseini said. “This reflects our collective determination to achieve
growth and expansion targets through the delivery of world-class banking
solutions. I am confident that the new branch will enable Al Yusr to reach more
customers looking for an innovative Islamic banking offering.”
