Alba appoints Ahmed Mazen Matar as manager training to boost local talent

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) has announced the appointment of Ahmed Mazen Matar as its new Manager Training. The move is part of Alba’s ongoing strategy to strengthen local talent development within the company.

Ali Al Baqali, Chief Executive Officer of Alba, commented on the appointment: “We’re pleased to welcome Ahmed to Alba. By investing in Bahraini talent, we’re building a workforce that reflects our values and our vision for the future. Ahmed Matar expressed his appreciation for joining the company: “It is an honour to join Alba, a company that has long been a pillar of national development. I look forward to advancing Alba’s training vision by fostering a culture of continuous learning and capability building that supports our people’s growth and drives operational excellence across all levels.”

Matar brings more than 10 years of experience in training and development from leadership roles at prominent organizations in Bahrain. He holds a BA in Management and Marketing from Ahlia University in Bahrain and has completed further studies through international programs at the University of Houston and Cardiff University.
