Alba promotes Saleem Helal Ali Yateem to acting manager of casthouse services

Saleem Helal Ali Yateem has been promoted to Acting Manager of Casthouse Services at Alba. His career with the company began in 2008 when he joined as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Over the years, his technical skills and dedication have played a significant role in managing complex maintenance tasks and leading essential capital projects.

In his new position, Saleem will focus on steering the Casthouse through changing market conditions to maintain an optimal value-added mix. Alba’s CEO, Ali Al Baqali, remarked on this promotion: “Saleem’s journey is not just a promotion; it’s a testament to a vision where the future is built by Bahraini hands and led by Bahraini minds.”

Al Baqali further expressed pride in seeing national talent advance into leadership roles, equipped with both technical expertise and strategic insight necessary for overcoming complex challenges.

Saleem holds several academic qualifications: a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kuwait University, a Master’s in Engineering Management from the University of Bahrain, and an MBA from Arabian Gulf University.
