Alba reports minor injuries after Iranian attack on its facility

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) reported on March 29 that two of its employees suffered minor injuries following an Iranian attack on its facility the previous day.

The company said ensuring the safety and security of its staff remains a top priority. Alba is currently evaluating the damage to its facilities and has emphasized that it is focused on maintaining operational resilience and protecting employees.

“The safety and security of Alba’s people remain its top priority and the Company confirms that 2 of Alba’s employees sustained minor injuries,” the company said in a statement.

According to Alba, an assessment is underway to determine the full extent of damage caused by the incident. The company also stated it will provide further updates as necessary.

This event highlights ongoing concerns about industrial site security in regions experiencing heightened tensions. The broader impact on operations or supply chains has not yet been detailed by Alba, but additional information may be released as assessments continue.
