Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) has received the RoSPA President’s Award at the Safety Summit 2025, marking its third consecutive year earning this recognition. The award was first announced in May 2025 and is given for consistent achievements in occupational safety and health.
Ali Al Baqali, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer, accepted the award from Becky Hickman, CEO of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), during a ceremony attended by a high-level company delegation. During the summit, Mohammed Khalil, Alba’s Director of Safety and Health, presented on Alba’s strategies for managing summer operations. He emphasized that Alba achieved zero heat-related illnesses over several years.
“This prestigious accolade – first announced in May 2025 – marks Alba’s third consecutive year of receiving the President’s Award, reflects Alba’s unwavering commitment to occupational safety, health excellence, and the well-being of its people.”
