Three new residential developments were launched in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) on April 20, including properties eligible for purchase by non-UAE residents, by Aldar Properties PJSC, Abu Dhabi’s leading property company.

“Our three new developments, West Yas, Mayan and Meera, will enrich Yas Island and Shams Abu Dhabi with high quality homes to meet demand across all segments of the market,” Mohammad Al Mubarak, chief executive officer at Aldar, said. “The next wave of our development plan is well underway, and we are delighted to be able to offer a further 2,000 homes to the growing Abu Dhabi market.”

West Yas will comprise over 1000 high-end villas on Yas Island for purchase solely by Emiratis. Its waterfront location provides access to high-profile leisure and entertainment activities.

Mayan plans to offer contemporary style beachfront studios and apartments, townhouses, villas and penthouses featuring prime views and amenities of community living including swimming pools, a private gym and play areas for children.

Meera, the third development, promises to be an aesthetically designed project on Al Reem island with access to parks, the marina and beaches. Over 400 affordable family homes will be located strategically close to the Abu Dhabi city center, business districts, airport and connections to Dubai.

“The launch of West Yas and Mayan … will only add to its attractiveness and value,” Chief Development Officer Talal Al Dhiyebi said. “Meera will fill the gap in the market for a high quality, mid-market product and will add to the already thriving community of Shams Abu Dhabi on Al Reem Island.”
