Ali Aseeri has been appointed as the Acting Manager of Engineering at Aluminium Bahrain (Alba). Aseeri brings over 20 years of engineering experience to his new role. He began his career in Alba’s Engineering Department in 2005 and has since held several important positions, including Senior Engineer and Superintendent of Engineering. During his time at Alba, Aseeri has contributed significantly to projects such as Line 6 and Line 4 Anode Enlargement Projects and the upgrades of Gas Treatment Centres 1 through 4.

Alba’s Chief Executive Officer, Ali Al Baqali, commented on the appointment: “This appointment is not just a reflection of Alba’s strategic focus on Bahrainisation but also a recognition of Ali’s proven track record. His technical acumen and strategic outlook will play a key role in steering the engineering design and implementation of key projects across Alba.”

Aseeri holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Liberec in the Czech Republic, an MBA from Arabian Gulf University, and a Project Management Professional Certification from the Project Management Institute.
