Automotive paint manufacturer ALPS Coating said Monday it has established a Middle East regional office in Bahrain.

The office opened Nov. 16 in the Kanoo Paint Center, a hub for the automotive paint industry. The new office will serve as a regional base for ALPS Coating as well as a technical training center. Executives from the Malaysia-based company attended the office’s opening ceremony.

While at the opening, ALPS officials honored Ebrahim K. Kanoo
Chairman Mohammad Kanoo with its Best Distributor Award for fiscal year 2015.

ALPS has been distributing to the Middle East since 2014. Its products, which include coating products for automotive refinishing, motorcycles, electronics, electrical appliances, ultraviolet paint and ink, as well as solutions for the plastics industry, are also available internationally in Bahrain, China, Australia, India and Southeast Asia
