AlRayan Bank has launched a new mobile banking application, AlRayan Go, designed to enhance the customer experience while adhering to Shari’a-compliant principles. This development is part of the bank’s strategy to offer a seamless, fast, and secure service.

The initial version of AlRayan Go allows users to manage accounts, transfer money quickly, and handle card life-cycle tasks. The app includes biometric authentication and personalized passcodes for added security.

Fahad Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Group Chief Executive Officer of AlRayan Bank, highlighted the importance of this launch: “AlRayan Go reflects our commitment to redefining Islamic banking for the modern era. This milestone represents the start of an exciting journey, leveraging cutting-edge technology to provide a faster, safer, and more intuitive banking experience. As we continue to innovate, our customers remain at the heart of everything we do, and this new app is a testament to our vision of building a future-ready, customer-centric bank. Together, we are shaping the future of Islamic banking.”

Houssam Itani, Group Chief Transformation Officer at AlRayan Bank, stated: “The launch of AlRayan Go marks a pivotal moment in our transformation journey. It represents a significant leap into a future powered by the latest technology. This first iteration is only the beginning—we are committed to continuously enhance AlRayan Go to set a new standard in customer experience.”

During the phased rollout of AlRayan Go, the existing mobile banking app will remain operational as user feedback helps refine the new platform through its messaging feature.

The rebranding from Masraf Al Rayan to AlRayan Bank signifies a new chapter but maintains its Islamic banking foundations. The bank continues its commitment to Shari’a-compliant finance principles in all services and products offered through innovative features in AlRayan Go.
