American University of Sharjah recently issued the following announcement.

Sharakah School Computing Competition

Students in grades 4-12 from Sharakah schools and their IT teachers will participate in the Sharakah Computing Competition 2018. The event will include different levels of competitions and presentations/demos on topics such as computer programming and mobile computing.

Organized by the AUS Office of Enrollment Management and the College of Engineering, the event promotes computer science and engineering, paving the way for school students to excel in advanced sciences and technology.
