Middle Eastern music streaming app Anghami recently exceeded 30 million downloads.

“The 30 million milestone is yet another indication that Anghami is the real connection between users and artists in the Middle East,” Anghami CEO Eddy Maroun said. “The product updates we’ve been doing the past year and our offerings with the artists and the various telcos in the region have paid off; and we plan to work harder to connect the music lovers as well as the availability of our premium offerings in the months to come.”

While the legal music streaming platform was launched in 2012 as a mobile-only service, it has expanded to be accessible numerous other ways such as through the web, desktops, tablets, smart watches, Apple TV and Chromecast.

In addition to the 30 million-download milestone, there are now more than 30 million registered Anghami users.

Anghami provides the MENA region unlimited Arabic and international music to stream, download and share. It offers a music catalog of more than 17 million songs and licensed content from Arabic labels such as Mazzika, Melody and Rotana, as well as international labels including Sony, Universal and Warner.
