Arabian culture tour to take in UAE, Oman

The tour company Original World will offer a small group tour exploring Arabian culture this November.

Led by experienced guides, the Arabian Peninsula tour will include travel to five of the United Arab Emirates and Oman.

Tour participants will visit the UAE regions of Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Ras Al Kalmath-Kasan and Sharjah. They will visit various areas across Oman including its capital, Muscat, the colorful and subtropical city of Salalah, the fishing villages of Quriyat and Tiwi and the historic town of Nizwa.

The 15-day tour is limited to 12 individuals.

Among the tour attractions will be the Dubai Museum, Burj al Arab hotel, the soaring skyscraper Burj Khalifa, the Musandam Peninsula, Kasab Fort, the Bait Al Zubair Museum, the Al Alam Palace, the Frankincense Museum, the Al-Balid archaeological site, the turtle-nesting site of Ras al-Junayz, Wahiba Sands, the Jabal Akhdar Mountains, Jabrin Fort and the Al Ain Palace Museum. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend the weekly camel market in Sinaw, as well as open air marketplaces otherwise known as souqs.

The Arabian Peninsula tour will be available again in 2017.
