Atbahrain and Marhaba Services signed an agreement Sunday to create a potent marketing force for the kingdom of Bahrain’s tourism sector.

The partnership will take advantage of each organization’s assets to welcome tourists as soon as they arrive at the airport and guide their experience throughout their stay.

Marhaba already operates four lounges at Bahrain International Airport and will help coordinate the expansion of so-called meet-and-greet services. Atbahrain will help manage visitors’ experiences during their stay and contribute to the development a new stopover program directed at travelers who visit Bahrain while on their way elsewhere.

Atbahrain is a subsidiary of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company that promotes Bahrain’s travel, tourism and hospitality markets.

Marhaba Services was founded in 1991 at Dubai International Airport to provide meet-and-greet services for arriving passengers. The company has since grown to 600 employees and provides services for nearly 1 million travelers each year.
